How to become a football scout

and noticed

Leverkusen had 20 international scouts, five of them working full-time - one each in Brazil and Argentina - earning 50,000 euros (£44,000) a year.

So you get paid £44k a year, to go round watching football games... seriously...what better job is there?

Does anyone know how to become one? Do they have to be ex footballers/coaches etc, or do you need to go on a 'scouting course', or just apply like a normal job?

They're not all that well paid. Usually you'll get paid per game or per player you find iirc

Join them and after a while start sending your CV/Reports off to lower league teams and hope for the best

Although reading some of the example player reports they are definitely FM-esque.

What a job, really would love that, not just watching football, but seeing someone you recommend to a team and that player going on to bigger and better things, just going to load up FM now
