How to benchmark

I have a good GPU and a reasonable set-up, but am really struggling to get any sort of decent performance out of certain games (mainly warzone).

I have all drivers updated etc so I feel like something must be holding my build back. What is the best way to benchmark to work out what is the problem?

My build is:

LG 27GL850-B 27" (I run wz at 1440p)
AMD Ryzen 7 3700x
Giga AORUS P750w 80 Plus Gold
Giga X570 GAMING X
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4
Geforce RTX 3090

Temps are pretty stable when gaming (around 50).

Will these highlight what is causing a bottleneck in performance or just give a score?
They'll just give you a score, which you'll need to compare to similar systems/components to evaluate if you are getting the expected level of performance.

You mention the temps are around 50 degrees - is this CPU or GPU?
Run some monitoring software in the background (HWMONITOR/HWIFO64/MSI Afterburner/GPUz) and it will show you the max temps/utilization for various components - your GPU should hit near 100%, but if your CPU is getting near that it could be holding things back

also what framerates are you getting?

also there appears to be a config setting to allow the game to use more than 4 cores (source)

Go Into My Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare\players\Adv_options.

you will See RendererWorkerCount=4 change it to 8. that will have warzone rendering on 8 cores instead of 4
