When building from scratch how do you build your pc?

Do you install all the components first then psu then leads? Do you put fans in first, then PSU then mobo etc?

In what order do you fit your parts, into the pc?

I'm doing a new build just now and wondered if there was a "correct" way for installing parts, in priority order, as to keep it smooth and easy to build.

I usually do PSU, mobo with ram cpu and cooler, drives, Gpu then wire it up and hope it boots. Then tidy all the cables.

I usually do - Risers, Mobo (with RAM and CPU installed) Cooler (rad and other AIO), PSU, Drives then GPU at the end. I hate faffing about with leads and wondered if there was good "point" at which to put PSU and leads in.

I personally install PSU, pull all the cables through, then motherboard, then RAM and CPU, then drives, then most of the cables, then CPU cooler, then graphics card and sound card, then the rest of the cables.

Depends on the case really, I tend to start by doing what I need to in the case, fans, PSU, risers, HDDs etc. Then I put the CPU, ram and sometimes cooler onto the mother board. Then motherboard into case, do the cables. Then GPU and other add on cards.

Though my main system is currently a mini ITX with a AIO cooler. So had to shuffle everything round to get it to fit. Started with the cooler and ended with the power supply.
