Its simply a no compromise product, check out the rear subframe with all the ally arms and links.

Back then it was pretty unusual until Thixotropic casting was better understood. We're talking the hubs aswell.

The Evo does not have 'all that stuff' at all. The whole thing is ally.

what the heck is that machine at the end

Also, are alu suspension arms really that special? An Evo has all that stuff for example, and that is positively cheap in comparison with the NSX.

Im guessing its for the factory alignment which must check static and dynamic toe etc.

Most of the stuff then, didn't realise the knuckle was alu too, surprised it's strong enough tbh. I watched the making of Elise documentary and they ditched the idea of using an aluminium rear subframe because it wasn't strong enough and cracked under testing.

Including the actual Body In White.

Just like my car :P

ally rear drums, ally shocks, ally hubs, ally calipers and the best bit, ally wiper arms :P

Except with none of the performance :p

Which begs the question, when are you going to get back on your horse and stop buggering about with this milk float crap? :p

God knows, when I have some money and motivation to having a smart car again, rather that just using them to come back to a work car park and go home only to find more marks or whatever from a ding.

Ive been spoilt now though with how cheap petrol appears.

If he's loving cheap motoring, but is obviously still a major car nut, then a second car sounds like the obvious next step no?

The Insight is my second car. :p

Id rather have a decent car that I can use everyday tbh. I have two small children, the opportunity to have a weekend let alone a weekend car is some what rare.

No but the expected demand from the US market can justify the development of an automatic drivetrain and for cars like to exist in a majority people have to choose and buy them. Which is obviously what happened in Japan.
