Hello all.

I'm trying to burn 2 tracks to a CD for playing at a funeral. I already had some discs that are labelled CD-R Audio but I have now spoiled all 3 and still don't have something that can be played in a standard CD player.

The method I have used to try and burn the audio CD is to use Windows Media Player in Windows 10. I have added both MP3s to the burn list and the burn type is correctly showing as 'Audio CD'. After spoiling the first disc I turned the burn speed down to 'slow' as I vaguely remember having problems in the past when discs are burned too quickly. It's an external USB Samsung burner that I am using.

I have now ordered a spindle of 25 CD-R discs to have another go but ideally I don't want to waste too many of them!

Has anyone got any hints or tips how to successfully get a music CD produced?

Many thanks.

M.

What error are you getting when you say you are spoiling the disc?

Sorry I should have been clearer.

I appear to be getting no errors and it looks like the burn happens and finishes fine (the disc gets automatically ejected once the burn is complete) but upon trying to play the CD in 2 different boomboxes neither of them can read the disc.
