Basically signed up for an O2 contract because of my UCAS number not working the other day so O2 was the best deal. (for a K800i).

Basically ordered it and confirmed it but then my mate says he used his UCAS number and it worked perfectly so I tried mine again.

Low and behold the bloody thing works. :D

Know though I have two phones coming, one from O2 and the other from Orange.

Will keep the Orange one (comes on Friday) but want to cancel the one on 02 or at least send it back.

Anyone know which phone number I need to cancel under the 14 day rule and if it can be done in-store? Or (I can't find it though) can anyone find a way to cancel online?

Thanks.

Thanks. :D

Phone is out of stock so delivery will be late anyway so have time to phone tommorrow and get it cancelled.

You should be able to cancel it anyway via the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) which allow you to return anything bought over the Internet as long as its within 7 days from receipt of the product.

For example I just returned a new T-Mobile Phone/Contract under these regulations as there was no reception available. :)

You need to go to "Pay Monthly Plans" on the website and at the bottom are the student ones. To even look at them you need to enter your UCAS or NUS number.

Once you do though then just pick a deal and then buy it if you want. :D
