How to change default Joomla page within FTP or cPanel?

Further to my previous thread on being a newcomer to Joomla, I've managed to make a good bit of progress.

I've made a boo-boo now though, I installed a template and set it as default, only to return to the main page and find no login area at all for admin or otherwise. No idea why, but there's definately nowhere on the mainpage for me to log into now.

Cant get into the back end of the site now, not through the mainpage.

Is it possible to change the default template page to another one I have already installed previously, via FTP or cPanel?.

Otherwise, it looks like I'm "locked out" for now.

Not used it myself, but can you not add something like "/admin" or "/administrator" and it will take you to the back end?

On my clans site it happened to me, where you have the option called "othermenu" just enable the Administrator link . And then it will show under the log in box.
