how to change my ip address

hi all
i live in northern ireland but my isp(aol) connects me through somewhere in the UK.
not too much of a problem i hear you say, that was until irelands national tv station brought out their vercion of bbc i player, rte player.
it will only allow access to it from the republic or ireland and northen ireland and since i connect through the UK i cannot access it.
is it possible to change my ip address to that i can access it, something simple would be preferred

There may well be a Northern Irish or Irish proxy that you can connect through, cant say I know of any though.
