How to check if molex works ? my fan controller & molex to fan connector are not working with fans b

fan controller and molex to fan connector are not working with fans but power is going and molex works

I dont use the molex much as everything except the fan controller is sata but the fan controller lights up but fans don't spin they did spin a week ago

after a look I replaced the molex cable connected to the PSU and it turns our it was the cable

Sounds like the fan controller has died if you are getting 12v to light it up.

It was the molex cable, but im not sure why i was still getting the lights

Some fan controllers use 5v for the display and 12v for the fan control circuitry. There must have been a bad connection on the 12v or something. That's probably why the lights worked.
