How to check I'm getting the most out of me 1070?

It all depends on what res your running, i have an i5 3570k @ 4ghz and a 780 and find the game runs great.
I dont know my settings exactly but i always turn shadows to medium and leave the rest on ultra.

I use windows 8.1 and dying light is on my ssd if that helps at all.

well seems me CPU useage hits 100% during these drops, which is likely attributing to the FPS taking a hit. GPU hovers around the 60 mark. Overclock it is!

Wait until you get the new cooler though. The stock cooler won't handle the extra heat.

Dying light is quite CPU intensive in my experience and not very well optimised when there is smoke or fire on screen.

Im finding with my 1070 I have to turn on maximum performance mode in nvidia settings or my card goes to a really low clock speed, I even have to do this with BF1 its very stuttery if I dont
