How to check MOT status.

My mum went to tax her car yesterday and couldnt find her MOT certificate, just last years one that ran out in April this year. She also can find her V5.
Now she say's to me she isn't sure if she did MOT her car this year...

Is there any way to check?

Yes and they all say i need the V5 number.
I was asking if anyone new any other way.

It asks for MOT Document number or V5 number. Just use the reg and number from the last MOT. Easy.

But does that not work for that MOT cert and older? If it had a newer one that wont show up.
