how to clean a bed

my brother will be having my bed as i will be getting a new one soon however it's a little dirty, not too bad but got 2 tea stains, got a mark where i removed the lable a while ago where its lighter under the label.

anyway can anyone reccomend anything to clean it up, freshen it up, and remove the stains if possible. i was origirnally going to get some febreeze to freshen it up but now seeing the stains and that i need something i bit better.

Is this the bed frame or mattress? Need more info in general really.

I rekon a regular carpet washing hoover will do a decent job on the mattress.

Is it a devan or a regular frame?

its like a devan but the base is also spung but not like the matress is.

carpet cleaner might do it but i don't have a carpet cleaner in the hosue and know of no one who owns one

You could hire one from the local dry cleaners probably. I bet your carpets would love you for it too

was thinking the actually for the carpets so would be good idea. can anyone reccomend the one from bnq? cheapish on price but not sure if thats the quality is also cheap.

I swear by my Vax cleaner, but it's not the upright version. IIRC, it knocked me back £130 at time of purchase 6 years ago, but it's a worthwhile purchase!

A steam cleaner would probably be the best method of killing any bugs in it.

I'd replace the mattress if its more than five years old really. I'd probobly use a foam furniture cleaner if I had to clean one though.
