can someone please link me a lcd screen cleaner that wont harm my monitors matte finish

im using a dell 2209wa

ive tried using a microfibre cloth with a bit of water and it did great at getting rid of the dust but theres some spots of grease i think ? on my screen that wont budge easyly

any help is much appreacited

this is just a hunch but if the lady frend has them your in luck

johnsons have these oil absorbing small pieces of film

if u use ur mon till its nice and hot so the oil is nice and warm then use one of these oil things and rub it on the oil spots it shud soak it all up.

no guarantees but worth a try and these things pick up oil like crazy even after ive washed my face:(
 
Is your cloth clean? No point wiping with a dirty cloth as it's just gonna push the grease around, and not wipe it off.

I don't use any chemicals at all, just run the washed cloth over screen and it picks up all the grease. If there's any harsh dirt I just breathe on it and then wipe it off.

I was my cloth in a bowl of soapy water and dry it with an iron.
 
very nice trick with the breath on the screen trick

it helped me move an annoying spot from my screen :)

i just breathed on the spot like 4 times and used a bit of warm water on my microfibre cloth and its gone :)
