I've got a Razer mousemat, a logitech media keyboard and a Trust mouse i've had for years. How'd i go about cleaning them?
Using a damp cloth is fine , although something more designed for cleaning like "Anti-Static Foam Cleaner" does a really good job. (just need too Google it, easily available)
Logitech membrane keyboards (which they all probably are, all of mine are anyway) have removable keytops. You can pop them out using a small flat screw driver, Although the space bar also tends to have a metal bar under it and is harder to reinstall. Does mean remembering the layout for when you have to put the back in, it goes QWERTY.... hehe
BUT do this at your own risk , as you might break your keyboard
It is however the best way too get all the rubbish from under the keys, I wouldn't risk putting my PC perifereals in a dishwasher as has been suggested
As for the mouse , how old is it? Its not a ball mouse is it? lol
Ahh the ammount of ball mice I've cleaned over the years by scratching the crap of the internal rollers.......I digress
If its optical , as i'm sure it is , Just clean it with the foam cleaner, I take mine apart once in a while too clear out the rubbish that gets past the buttons but infrequently.
It really depends how far you want to take the cleaning process but I'd recommend "Anti-Static Foam Cleaner" over just a damp cloth any day.
