How to clean my mousemate?

My mousemate is a bit filthy, erm how do I clean it? Can I just bung it in with my washing? The thing is I really like it as it's from biro-art.com.

Try hand-wash if you're worried it might be delicate

I would try warm water and a little detergent.

I have a steelpad, just wipes clean every time
