How to clean off old thermal paste?

Be careful if you use nail polish remover (Acetone) as you need to make sure it doesn't go anywhere near PCB as it'll start to dissolve it. You should use 99% isopropyle alcohol really.

"isopropyl alcohol" I use the spray delivery system *Servisol IPA 170* No residue and evaporates super fast!

Spray on cotton ear buds (maybe 5-10 will do depends on how much paste there is) and gently rub surface to be cleaned.

I use the same method to clean GPU PCB + Mobo where theres heavy dust and gunk deposits
