Hi all, been a while since i asked a question on here,
Im just going through deleting old programs and files that i no longer need or use, but many programs leave folders and files,
revo uninstaller has done a half decent job but i want to be able to check every folder and make sure only files and folders for programs i have installed are the only ones left.

is there an easy way to do this, reinstall is not an option

Yeah, I reinstalled windows 10 a couple days ago, as I was having issues with things. I thought it was going to be a ball ache, but I only took like an hour, and half of that was figuring out how to install from USB as I've never done that before. All the updates were already there, I was really impressed.

It helps that I have a 2nd hard drive for data though, so I just chuck anything I want to keep on there and just nuke the c drive.

As above, reinstall. And if you don't already have a data drive with the stuff you want to keep on, then take this as a chance to do that. You won't regret it - easy to backup & quick to reinstall in the future.

you know i am tempted by win10, im still on win7, im guessing it saves programs already installed ? so i can upgrade without having ti install all my programs.

I do have option at work to buy win10 for £10

My PC just updated itself from windows 10 to windows 7 overnight, Everything still worked, even all the drivers and that seamed fine.
