How to clean yellowing on Xbox 360 controller?

I've had an Xbox 360 controller in the garage for a few years and the top half has yellowed.

Any ideas how to clean it?

You could try T cut. Might work. It takes off the top layer of crud.

its the bromine, the stuff they put in plastic to make it flame retardant. it oxidizes over time and turns yellow.

retr0bright would solve it, if you're feeling adventurous.

If you are feeling lazy, you could get another for like a fiver on the bay and keep it as a spare.

Spare controllers always handy; buttons get stuck, wires get twisty, unexpected multiplayer sessions find you short.

Take that part off and soak it in bleach for 24hr
or
take that part off and spray paint it
or
buy a new shell
