how to clear ssd?

I have a ocz vertex 2 120gig.im going to be using a new ssd for the OS,

Whats the best way to clear the drive of everything,i take it i cant just format it like a standard HD?

secure erase (search and ye shall find pretty easily a link for doing this method)

i downloaded the ocz toolbox clicked on erase and it says cus its my boot drive secure erase is not supported so i guess i need to get the new drive OS installed then connect this one then it should work i assume?

Grab Parted Magic and perform a secure erase. OCZ Toolbox will not allow you to wipe your boot disk. Seems stupid but it's not.
