Just trying to free up much needed disk space and have discovered on running TreeSize Pro - 1,568mb is given over to System Volume Information. And most puzzlingly, the corresponding graph indicates a whopping 2,734mb associated with a file called "_restore {F73F117F-42A4-4583-90F0-CC2C15AA0BDB}"
When I click on this file (from within TreeSize) it breaks down into 9 separate entities named RP413 through to RP421 (presumably restore points?) matching when totalled up, the larger of the two figures: 2.7GB
so two questions
1. how do I best safely get rid of it?
2. Why the 1gig discrepancy?
