How to clone or create exact image of hdd whs 2011

i want create a exact copy of my drive onto another drive or a image...ive tried the usual..oo diskimage...acronis...cant work that program is there any program i can copy my c drive to and boot off....thanks

I've just done exactly what you describe, swapping a new drive in and cloning the old onto it. I used Acronis True Image Home 2011 and it was brilliant. Initially it didn't 'see' my new drive, but I followed the simple trouble shooting tips and it then worked brilliantly.

If you're using Western Digital Hdds you can down-load Acronis direct from the WD site free.

Sorry you can also download even if you're not using Western Digital Hdds, but so I'm told it doesn't work

You could try the Alt + TO trick with Seagate DiscWizard. It might even work with the WD edition of TrueImage, but I've never tried it.
