how to close a steam account?

Opened an account for my younger brother, found out his using hacks so to teach him a lesson i want to close it.

Any ideas how to do this?

You could change the password and email if you know them. I dont think you can actually close one. You could just try and get him banned by giving him an "uber leet cheat" that you know is detectable.

Haha nice one for taking action against your bro. I'm assuming all source based games are linked, VAC wise? If so, perhaps make a few purchase suggestions before handing over the "uber leet cheat"

I would make sure you get it vac banned. THATS much better than just changing the password.

go onto mpcforums, its a giant multiplayer h acking site and go onto CSS or whatever, they have lists or detected hacks, just get one of them. Then never go on that site again!

What utter rubbish, i used to be good at CS (not CSS) back in the day, was even in a clan becuase they thought i was good enough, a lot of epople dont cheat to be good you know

when did being in a clan mean anyone was remotly good?

I do agree with the person who stated that almost everyone who is a top player has tried cheats.
If someone is a regular cheat then fair enough, burn the witch.
Iv used cheats, I and my friends have had a lot of funny games when we'v all used cheats.
Using cheats can often up a players game when they ditch the cheats as soon as they get their aim back, as they have witnessed first hand where certain bodyparts and camping spots are in relation to their position through walls etc, aswell as seen how players generally act in certain places when behind walls.
Personally when I used cheats it only made me a better player once I decided it was no fun anymore, I had an edge due to experiences of once seeing through certain walls etc.
