I just caliabrate boths with the Spyder 3.

Apart from the Viewing angle I can't notice any diference in Color when I watch a number of pictures size by size . What I'm doing wrong? Which the best best test I can do to justify the Apple (3 times more expensive)? or Simply I Have a good Dell?

Thanks

The apple can also properly display 16.7 million colours, the dell can only "really" display about 255,000 but fakes it up the 16.2 million using tricks like FRC. You may be able to notice gradients shimmering slightly on the dell, or blocky gradients.

But the no 1 thing about IPS's is, as you've noticed, the amazing colour stability even at extreme viewing angles.

All Apple monitors are EOL(except the new 24"), its a stuipid idea to buy one at this time as they are 2-3 LCD generations behind LGP's latest LCD panels.

Yes viewing aangles will be the bigest differnce you will notice. Some people are more sensitive displays and can easily tell one from another and just cant get on with a TN panel, a lot though cant tell much differenance.

Two main advantages, viewing angles as mentioned.

And TN-panels often means low-end displays (since price is what they're good at), which usually means higher risk of getting general build quality issues. Like the oh-so-common backlight bleeds, completely destroying both uniformity and black level/contrast.
