How to COMPLETELY/wipe/format an iPhone?

As title. Looking to sell my iPhone but I want to just clean wipe everything. Its currently jailbroken/unlocked to 2.0.1.

Any info would be appreciated.

Plug in your iphone and load up itunes then click restore. That will set everything back to default.

Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Contents and Settings.

TheMagic1an, will that erase all firmware stuff as well?
Howabout stored files that were transfered using WINSCP for example?

If you do what I say it will erase all personal data and anything you have done to the phone since buying it, except SSH'ing into the phone.

If you've put custom apps through Cydia onto the iPhone and backgrounds etc a restore will basically format the iPhone like you would with a computer

Yeah i think so. I haven't jailbroken my iPhone, but i'm sure it will restore it back to the original firmware and it will delete everything else.
