Can anyone help me with some suggestions on how I can best configure my network to deal with P2P traffic while not affecting other tasks? I'm in a 6 person student house and I'm getting really bad lag in online games and I'm pretty sure it's all the P2P stuff people are running. We have VM 50mb.
Network is like this:
Switch -> Belkin DIR-15 (with DD WRT) -> VM Superhub (in modem mode)
I've enabled QoS and by looking at the UPnP info found all the ports the varying bittorent clients are using and have set them all to bulk but it doesn't seem to have really helped.
Of course it could just be virgin media being over subscribed and rubbish but it's 1 am here and still bad.
