I am in the process of changing the LCD on my Lenovo Ideapad 5 Laptop as the previous screen broke, and I have managed to (gently) disconnecting the EDP cable to the LCD, but i dont know for sure which movement eventually disconnected the cable, so I dont know for sure which angle, etc, to use to connect the cable.. I obviously dont want to force it in, so asking before I try too hard.
I suspect its a top down push job, but please confirm.
I know the EDP on different machines look slightly different, but this is the one in my laptop:
