Im moving from a build which was 6 fans to a build that will probably have in excess of 10 fans. Obviously i would need to invest in a device so they could be powered by the psu, is there any suggestions as i would like to group them. For example rad 1 and rad 2. exhaust fans etc. They are all going to be pwm so i would prefer something that would help with that.

Thanks,

why do you need 10 fans in a case? =D
Why dont you control them on Speedfan and set them by different core temps? wouldn't it be easier?

You could attach the fans you want in groups to splitters and use a separate fan header for each group, then just control the fan headers using speedfan or some similar software.

To be honest I'll have 2x 480 rads in there so in my mind I would at least have 4 on each. Then an exhaust fan at the back with possibly two up front.
The aim is to get almost silent operation.
With regards to putting them on one header not having checked the ampage and voltage on the fans I intend to use yet would I even be able to run 4 on a fan header.
I was looking at possibly a controller however I seem to get lost trying to figure out what would do what I want.

im trying to post a pic

Out of curiosity what are you cooling with 2 x 480mm radiators?

Thats huge.

I have 1 x 480mm radiator cooling my 5820k and my Gtx1080 and its more than adequate.

Hedge, I've got a caselabs SMA8 so intend to fill it. Eventually ill have 2x gtx 1080 or maybe ti if they ever release it. thats one loop and the other a loop for cpu and mobo. Its just really a project that I've been thinking about and is finally coming to fruition. I know its really overkill but what the hell eh?

Titus btw your picture you tried to upload doesnt show.

Oh yeah thats fair enough, we all have our hobbies!. I was just curious more than anything :)

No worries pal, its one of those the caselabs case was too good to pass up at the price. Would the aquaero 6 LT USB fan controller possibly sort my fan thoughts out as i would then be able to control it via software but also power enough fans from the psu?
