How to create a Boot menu?

So I have XP on one hard drive and Vista on a seperate raptor, can anyone give me a step by step walkthrough on the process of creating a boot menu so i dont have to go into the bios each time and change which drive to boot from.

I did a search but from what I tried from the results it didnt seem to help me.
 
okay so i added the xp as another operating system and specified it was from a different drive.

when selecting it from the boot menu though i get a message that there is an error with file:\windows\system32\winload.exe, status: 0xC000000f and also an info message that the file is either missing or corrupt.

any ideaS?
 
anyone have any ideas on this? im getting a bit desperate to get it solved.

EDIT - problem solved, can someone close this thread now please?

how did you fix it dan?

im still having problems with mine,
wont boot vista unless i place the dvd in the main drive. :(

i tried all sorts, even vistabootpro boot doesnt see any drives at all on there.
 
Well I was using VistaBootPro and just forgot to select legacy for the xp boot up.

I used a guide from the net, I'll see if I can find it for you.

only problem is. my files that you have to move arnt there.
and yes i set my folder options to view hidden files ;)

i may just reinstall both windows xp and vista again,
and see if it works that time.
