Hi all, i have a text file with 400 lines in it. Each line = a folder name.

other than going through one by one does anybody know of a program that can create 400 folders with the names from a text file?

Done - its very crappy and no error handeling. im happy to "tart" it up a bit if needs be - however if its a one off then im guessing that dosent matter!

oh btw if you do want it tarting up and stuff as i said im happy to do so but ill have to do it later on tonight :)

oh also i've just noticed im using the wrong kind of file browser for the first text box! silly me. im sure you can type whatever.txt on the end of the string :P

Mate your a star, works perfect all done!

I need another favour though!

I have a script in a folder written in Dos very basic.

Say the folder is C:\halo\192.168.1.0

in there i have a script that reads

open 192.168.1.0
username = ****
PWD = ***

Get ****
Get ****
Get ****
Get ****

bye

is there anyway i can change the script so that whatever folder i put the scirpt into it will use that folders name as the IP it connects to?

Instead of modding the scipt each time?

are these folder names in question the ones from the text file ? if so i could probably add another feture to the application?

sound good?

Sounds Brilliant!

Thanks so much mate what info do you need from me?

Can you include a template so i can put a script into that?

All i need is the IP changing each time to the same as in the text file...

Mate you are a genius!

You have just saved me about 15 hours work!

Its just so i can backup a shed load of files over my network.

Thanks man i really owe you one!
