Heya, I'm totally lost on this, theres loads of programs but I don't know what to search for?

What I want to know is how do I go about cutting music from sound tracks and putting them into their own .mp3 with others?

Hopefully somebody out there knows how :p

Any recommendations?

>just had an advanced look seems they're all £70+, anyone know of a shareware one?<

I hope this post doesn't come under the "warez" rule as I'm not after illegal copies, so keep the thread clean please :)

i guess you could use something like audacity

take the whole soundtrack, rip it with cdex, then cut it individually with the above tool, would take a while but it'd work

If you`re working with big album length mp3s and just want one song from it i use mp3 splitter and joiner, you set cut points and it cuts the mp3 without re-encoding it (without losing quality).Really handy and its cheap.
Or how about FreeRIP?(its free btw :D ) or MP3 Studio by Nicola 0.72 (free and splits mp3s too i saw).Just google these names or try `free cd mp3 ripper`

i always use goldwave :), one of the best bits of software ive ever found im sure!

you need an mp3 codec installed on your comp to save as mp3's but their easy to get from google.

i also prefere the 4.somethin version of goldwave to the newer version but i guess thats just personal preference
