How to destroy an Evo rebuild!

I dont know the first thing about engines, but I know that isnt right. what an absolute mess that engine bay is, and the youtube video, what a sound it makes :D
 
PMSL @ spraying the starter motor, no wonder they went through 3 of them. There's a Youtube vid of the car out on the road at the end of the thread, I'm amazed it didn't go bang as soon as they turned the key. :o
 
Whats really scary is that its the impellor blades on the turbo that went, got sucked into the engine and probably mashed things up. But that means it was something going through the turbo in the first place that did the damage and stopped it working (could it even get through the intercooler?), meaning the engine wasnt the cause of the failure! Either they werent running a filter on the turbo and were very unlucky or the turbo had nothing to do with the failure.
