How would i see if my motherboard is damaged in anyway (other than a visual inspection)? Im currently having problems and im suspecting the motherboard but i can't be sure. What would be the symptoms of a damaged/worn out motherboard?
An example of a problem is when i use my scroll wheel on my mouse on a scrollable page and a buzzing sound is emitted from the motherboard. Its right between the CPU and where the mouse plugs into the mobo. It also causes interference with my TV. Im also having other problems that include random freezes when doing stuff.
When my PC used to be a in a case with a system speaker, it used to randomly beep stuff out to me but i couldnt figure out what was wrong with it as Asus kindly left out the error codes in the manual. Eventually i put everything into my Antec P180 which has no system speaker.
Currently have an A8N-SLI Deluxe.
