How to disable HD4000 on 3770k?

Despite the onboard HD4000 being disabled in Device Manager in Windows 7 it still shows up in the results as a second GPU when running benchmarks such as 3DMark/Heaven etc.

Bios is set to boot PCI-E first, no option that I can see in bios to disable HD4000 completely on my 3770k cpu.

Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post the question in, unsure whether to post here or CPU or motherboards.

Relevant specs are:
Asus P8Z77-V
3770k
Asus GTX670

Thanks.

It is in bios mate near enough under the same place you found boot to PCIE first.

Render standby is in there also alongside setting how much memory it can use from system memory.Just disable em all and it should go away. You must have installed software for it also?

Get rid of everything and yea motherboard section as its motherboard settings not graphics.

Ciao

In BIOS under peripherals disable integrated graphics. You also should be able to lower the IMC/igpu voltages as a result and lower your cpu temps by doing this.

Is there not an option in the BIOS to disable igpu?, there is for me, don't know about your board though.

Not that I can see, just an option to select which display to initialize first.

Yes, I installed the Intel drivers for the HD4000 when I was using it before I got the 670. No options in bios to disable iGpu.

Advanced > System Agent > Graphics config, Disabled multi monitor on IGP (should work, try it...not sure)

Already disabled. Not a huge problem as the system seems to work fine just shows a second GPU in benchmark scores.

I don't see any option to disable the iGpu anywhere in the Bios. Perhaps I shouldn't have skimped on the motherboard and paid the extra for the Pro or Deluxe version rather than the basic.

Thanks all for the help :)

You shouldn't want to disable it...
Unless you have people saying it gives and unfair advantage in benchmarks which IMO shows how inexperienced they are ;)
