Does anyone have any idea how i can create a small advertisement that will be replicated 4x so it prints equally on a single sheet of A4 paper or card,

My friend is starting up her own mobile hair dressing and nails, she has business cards, car door magnets, and hoodies all printed but putting leaflets through doors would help no end and also hopefully get her a lot more business

we are trying to keep costs down hence we are going to print / photocopy the leaf lefts ourseves cut up and hand deliver.
but non of us has any idea how to create the small adverts any suggestions

Many Thanks

Avoid Vista print like the plague

Quoted for truth. Awful company that pass credit card details onto third parties, and the quality is REALLY bad IME (had something reprinted 4 times and it was still wrong, despite having been designed right and another printing company nailed it first time)

printing.com are very good, they have local branches all over the place too, great quality :)

10,000 gloss for £121+ vat, that's a penny each.

£68 for 1000 non gloss ones, but double sided...

google for it, there are loads of instances. My gf had £10 a month going from her account until we noticed! Never did get it back (Only 2 months worth though)

I had some deep red business cards that were printing as **** brown.

This is how I do flyers for the smaller gigs I put on.

I used to put four copies of the iamge on a word document but now I create an image with all four on as this qurantees the spacing while printing. Print out a master at home, keep it high contrast black and white if you're planning to photocopy as even a black and white fade may come out poorly.

Then just have the master photocopied and cut them up yourself. The place I go to is 5p a sheet but 1p of that is for the paper so I know take my own and thus pay about 4.1p per sheet so just over 1p per flyer.

You can get it slightly cheaper if you print an a4 master with 9 flyers on it and have it blown up to a3. The flyers are almsot the same size as 4 on a4 but you get the cost down to about .9p per flyer at the expense of a bit of quality.

Professionally printed flyers will actually work out cheaper if you're looking at the quantities of 5000+ (thats when they start to use lithographic printing over digital printing).

edit: If you're want professional one go here http://www.awesomemerchandise.com/a6-flyers-p-12.html . Fantastic place that do all my printing, very helpful staff on the phone too.
