How to do a Bleed and convert from pub.doc to PDF

At the moment I am using Microsft Publisher to make some flyers, not the printing company is asking for PDF's with bleed marks, I have tried having bleed marks on the Office Publisher but it is only visable on Print Preview only.

Also I can save it on JPEG but not into PDF, can someone help a lame indivdual like me.

All your help much appreciated, thanks in advance.
 
PDF part is easy.

Get CutePDF, install. Print to the new CutePDF Printer, choose a save location when the dialogue appears. Job done.

As for bleed marks, am unsure about them. perhaps check print options to define what is printed and what is not.
 
The way I deal with bleed requests is to make the page / canvass / whatever, a few pixels bigger in each direction, but ask them to only print the size you want, and make sure whatever design you are doing does not run right to the edge (or not that you care about anyway).

For instance, I want 30cm x 30cm printed right to the edge. I'll design on 31cm x 31cm and full colour right to the edge, they therefore have 1cm of bleed all the way around :)
