how to download GTA V on PC?

I have just done a fresh install of Win10 on my PC and I am stuck as to how to re-download GTA V ?

after hours of looking through emails, I have found I purchased from GreenMan Gaming, it shows my serial but no way to download the RockStar Social club.

I have spent the past couple of hours trying to find the official SC download, but all I can find is fake or illegal downloads

Anyone know how to download it, it really shouldn't be this difficult

hey mate, i just looked. go to rockstar social club website, and sign in. then in the top right click the little cog icon next to your user name and select game downloads, and it is there to redownload

Slightly off topic but when I upgraded my windows 7 PC to win10 it somehow borked my Rockstar social account, and I couldn't play GTA5 at all. Had to contact Rockstar support to get it all reset which involved me proving my purchase, taking photos of the game DVDs (I had bought it on disc) etc etc. Was all very odd and very annoying but their support was quite good in the end.

For steam version it can't really get any easier...

.....Open steam ,Right click GTA V ,Click install game..

And then wait for about 65GB :eek:

I've re-bought a few things I had on disc on Steam (on sale) for this very reason.

I just keep a copy of GTAV_Setup_Tool.exe handy, i've reinstalled about 5 times so far.

The game does tend to screw up eventually if ya using it for testing overclocks a lot. Would be nice if they included a repair program like ya used to use on WoW when ya messed that up.

The game takes me roughly 7 hours to install from disc

as its going through the network, so i prefer to just download it when i want it fixing, that gets it down to 2 hours. I think its about time i bought another SSD, i've been using one 840pro and a 480g storage for years now and some of the new games are huge. I cant keep backups anymore or i run out of space

^^ External drives, don't need to be fast. I keep most of mine (both Steam and non-DRM ones) backed up on external drives most of the time. Can get them surprisingly cheap.

Heck there's 3TB internal drives going for £45 on the members market at the moment!

Hmm, could be a good idea, i havent used mechanical drives for years because of the noise but if its external its turned off when im not using it.
