How to download Steam workshop items?

Hi all

I've subscribed to and downloaded a number of Steam workshop items for a game I play mostly on MacOS. However, when I boot into Windows to play the same game, none of my subscribed items show in the game. When I browse to my subscribed items in Steam, all of the content appears in my subscription list but with no way to force a download.

Does anyone know how I get these subscribed items to download on Windows?

You just sub and they will be added, sometimes restarting steam kicks them into life. Also depending on the game, you may need to enable them in the game.

I’ve already subscribed to these items and they were downloaded fine on the MacOS version of the game. But on the Windows version, the items show as subscribed, but don’t appear in the game (because they haven’t yet been downloaded on the Windows version). My question is, how do I get Steam to download my already subscribed items?

I've figured it out... the items were already downloaded! I was just in the wrong section of the game trying to find them!
