how to dual boot xp and vista

still abit nervous bout taking the vista plunge.i play eve online and they say they dont support vista yet.
so was wanting to dual boot for a while.how would i achieve this.

Partition your hard drive, install vista on spare partition

safest way is to make sure you have a spare partition/drive formatted as ntfs ready. now run the vista setup program from within xp. choose the custom setup and follow the prompts. easy.
