How to embarrass goalie in hockey.

First off, this is ice/pyjama hockey - not hockey.

And second, to be beaten by that sort of skill isn't demeaning of one's dignity - if they'd stopped it, Barkov would have looked like a chump, however!

Yeah i agree, it's superb skill more than "dignity stealing"

Although it is annoying conceding things like that. Bit like when i play 5-a-side footy and it's congested on the edge of the box and someone manages to backheel it into the net!

The difficulty I have with ice hockey (which some of my family are obsessed with) as a spectator sport is that the thing you're supposed to be watching is tiny and travelling at a million miles per hour.

It took 3 replays before I could even see what had happened. Very impressive though.

I have a similar problem with the idea of watching golf, where you're supposed to be watching a tiny white thing against a largely white background.

Went to a hockey game or two in Cardiff, and just had no idea where the puck was most of the time from where I was sat. I knew who had it, but couldn't see the thing, and no idea when they were faking a shot etc

who the hell tends to your fairways if they are 'largely' white

If it was crazy golf, I'd agree with your point. But on a full size course a lot of golf tracking shots are against the sky rather than the fairway.

Much kudos to the cameramen for even being able to follow the ball. But on the screen I can't see it until it lands.
