Hi

I've got a ROG Swift and G Sync is enabled in Nvidia control panel (I have the latest drivers). My question is should V Sync be set to on or off in GTA V in order for G Sync to be active or does it not matter? Are there any other settings I should look at in Nvidia control panel to make sure G Sync is working properly?

Thanks

v sync off as it makes no sense with g sync (though possibly this setting will get overriden anyway? Not sure - off is the right setting option though :))

The vsync option ingame "shouldn't" do anything regardless of what it is set to if gsync is enabled in the nVidia drivers. (Not sure if they ever made the ingame setting mirror the bit below however).

If your using the latest drivers the vsync option in the driver control panel changes when gsync is enabled - instead of a variety of options like adaptive sync, etc. it just becomes an on/off control - vsync on clamps max framerate to the screen refresh as per old style gsync behaviour, vsync off enables gsync from 30 upto the screen refresh rate but disables gsync when rendering above the refresh rate (so you get higher framerates but also tearing).
