How to EXPORT emails in Mozilla Thunderbird email client?

I have decided to dump Vista and go back to XP, so I need to save all my current emails in Thunderbird... How do I EXPORT emails? I can see an option in tools to IMPORT emails, but can't seem to export them.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to 'start' Run and type

%APPDATA%\Thunderbird

Then go to the Profiles folder, then navigate through until you find the folder labelled that matches up with your account.

When back with XP do the same, install the app, create the account, and then insert the copied files into the relevant files.
