How to find Compatible RAM?

Looking to stick in a 2GB RAM Module into my new netbook, just to speed little bits and pieces up .

As i've never owned a netbook and i have never looked into this stuff, how can i find the model number of my RAM module, is it a case of removing the bottom of the netbook? manual?

I will have a browse and see what i can do.

Netbook

Acer Aspire One D255 N550 CPU (Dual Core 1.5GHz)

and it uses DDR3 Memory, not the normal DDR2 in netbooks.

How come it says only PC3-8500 is compatible? any particular reason? looking on OcUK they only sell this - Mr Linky!

Would this work or not, or am i best getting that 2GB stick from Crucial?

EDIT: Seems Crucial USA dont deliver to the UK, ill try and see if Crucial UK sell the same RAM Module

EDIT 2: Found it, will decide if i will be purchasing it in the morning.
