Is it written on the cases anywhere?

One of my clients has psu problems with his shuttle, any way i can get him to quickly look to find the model number?
Or just the psu model number, is it written on the back? or do you have to remove the cover of the shuttle?

Its definitely a G2.

Most likely a SB62G2

Motherboard will be FB62 taking a P4 Socket 478 CPU

They usually have a serial number sticker on the back.

Or you can run CPUz on the machine and it will tell you the motherboard which usually will give you a good indication of the shuttle model.

was in my original post, but i edited it out, the psu is dead, so can't run cpu-z on it, and it's the other side of the country

big thanks for your help

looks like the SilentX 250W is the one i want for it

yup, silentx 250w psu will fit in a g2 chassis. normally around the back near the fan there will be a barcode with the full chassis number written on it for identification purposes.

edit: looks like the sb62g2 as said above, the 250w unit would be ideal (dual quiet fans) if not then the unit originally came with a 220w unit which fits too.
