How to find out about special cinema showings?

I keep missing out on when cinemas screen old films again.
Usually someone posts they've seen it or they are going "tonight".
Was really annoyed to miss out on alien.

Is there some sort of resource for up and coming special screenings at your local cinema?

Cineworld will tend to email out, if you sign up to their email newsletter. They also have an app with notifications you can check.

For my local they have a section for now booking stuff, I check it periodically for when they do stuff like that. Like I just spotted there's a showing of a Sabaton gig in a few weeks.

On Cineworld, just look up your local and it’ll show all the future dates for classics and other specials. It’s worth booking early, because they quite often sell out before hand.

Anyone know for odeon? That's my local one.
Would be nice to get it passively. Ie a dedicated email vs looking at an app regularly

For example, Star Wars Ep4 - A New Hope - is being shown this weekend, its already sold out in my local cinema and they've had to open a new screen just to cope.

For example, Star Wars Ep4 - A New Hope - is being shown this weekend, its already sold out in my local cinema and they've had to open a new screen just to cope.

Went to see it today. The demand has been so intense they are now showing it every day this week.

Because Cineworld advertise their upcoming movies quite well I've now booked the other two from the original trilogy and the 3 sequels. One a week till the end of October.

I didn't take any interest in the prequels although I should have watched Rogue One.

Regarding info for the OP, I did notice that our local entertainment area has a Twitter account, and advertise what's coming up, so that might be an option.
