So the pipe up from the ground was never in line with the socket. In the pic the shroud is removed, but it connects under grey box and should cover top of the pipe.

It had a foam insert in top of pipe but the pipe would fill up with water.

I've dug down and found this.

Question. The pipe is blown at the end, but once attached isn't long enough to line up to the connector box on the wall.

Option 1. Disconnect cable, buy new pipe and jelly connectors. Pipe is hard to find, online is easy but expensive delivery.

Option 2. Keep pipes but leave disconnected from underground pipe and just fill in. BT cable should be find right?

Options 3. Find some way of connecting the pipes with some fibreglass fix etc.

Thoughts?

Leave it. The pipe is BT property and you aren't allowed to touch any part of their network beyond the master socket. The ducting pipe is only there to make it easier to pull through a new cable in the event of a failure without the need to dig a trench.

Not your problem. Unsure why you would even wanna mess about with it.

Yeah, OK. To clarify, it was only because the pipe coming up from the ground was not aligned with the shroud covering the inlet to the house. It was about 4 inches off.

So can I bury the cable exposed so to line the pipe up nicely? I think you're saying this is fine.

I wouldn't care except it is by my front door and very noticable.

So option 2 works?
