needless to say fiddling around with it can damage the thing; id say try a little epoxy and just use it as a back up of a new one since this one may not be 100% condition
ive got this exact same problem just now with my corsair drive as well.
emailed corsair who will take it back to repair or replace but this means posting it back to the netherlands securely.
havn't looked at the costs yet but i am wondering if glueing myself would be cheaper.
just emailed them, i dont know how long the warranty is, as i have had mine 14months. this will be the 3rd drive i have to send back in 3 years it cost around £5 i think.
