I've had my Compaq R4000 for about 6 months now, installed so much crap on it and wish i hadn't.
Basically, i have the two CD's that it came with (XP Home SP2 with included drivers it says) and a recovery applications DVD.
However, ive used the OS CD to reinstall windows on my desktop and it hasnt been any different or installed any HP software on my machine. Will the HP drivers only go onto the laptop then?
Graphics drivers arent a problem because i can get them from the omega drivers website.
Its things like mobo, onboard sound and wireless that concerns me
