So I unlocked my phenon II X2, and I'm sure I read somewhere that this messes with CPU temp readings. So is there a program that will get me a true core temp reading?

not that ive heard of.

best way is to use the motherboard cpu sensor (usually labeled TMPIN0 or TMPIN1). Depending on the board this is usually 5-10.C lower than the true temp. To determine how much difference there is, you keep the chip as a dual, crank up the volts a bit (so theres a larger change in temp), and monitor how the motherboard temp rises with the true temp. That way you can establish how far out the motherboard sensor is and work from that when the chip is unlocked :)
