Some one has changed my girlfriends laptop username password on vista 32 and she cannot get on to her computer I have tried booting in safe mode but always goes to the username log in screen which we don't know the password for obviously because it's been changed

Is there a way to get round this and delete the username or remove password please ?

She doesn't have access to another computer and she doesn't even have a burner I cannot just pop round there she lives far away at mo.
Is there no way to do it in cmd or somehow bypassing the login screen ?

Fixed :D

Sorry only offer of help i can suggest is what others have already suggested.

What about taking the motherboard battery out for a bit and replacing it? Will that work?

Nope, that will only reset a BIOS password.

Basically there is nothing you can do without some tools. The built in administrator has been disabled since Vista so attempting safe mode isn't an option.

By design, you're not supposed to be able to sidestep the account control.

Burn whatever she needs onto a disc and pop it in the post.

With any luck it'll be there by Christmas! :D
