How to get dual screen?

Hi,

i have a laptop and a TFt and wish to link both together and use both screens at the same time? But when I plug in tft into laptop I get image on the tft but not on the laptop screen.

Need to adjust dual view properties. Check driver/desktop properties. Check keyboard shortcuts, could be FN & function keypress to cycle through.

a lot of laptops only have one output - so its one of the other - the only way to get round this is with a splitter (clone) or matrox's dual head.

Rather expensive I'm afraid

Function + F7 on Thinkpads cycles display output to internal / external / both.

Check the available options in your display properties.

wrong. you can plug more then 1 screen in and have them both runnin

Possibly thinking about dual video, which can't be done. At least not to my knowledge.
